so while waiting for a response I tried to redo the first setup instruction of:

“After activating the Prayer theme, please setup homepage using following

Go to Settings » Reading » Front page displays
Click on radio button of Your latest posts
Go to Appearance » Theme Options and click on Restore Defaults in bottom side”

even though it erased my settings

BUT it is still displaying all the blog posts on the home page in every section not sure why – really strange and not sure how to undo it so that the proper sections display

    please advise

So to clarify – something changed here in Settings > Reading

and it is overriding the home page
there is nothing set for either

Homepage or Posts page – what should homepage be set to
I will set my Posts page to the blog

Right now the only setting is instead set to Latest Posts which is clearly the problem but not sure how to undo that

    🙂
    Thanks

Again – I can not send you a login as this is on a dev server

    here is my setup
Front Page Displays is not an option
A static page displays > Homepage > ?what page name for the Prayer Theme?
Posts Page = Blog (which is correct and what I would like to set)

If you are saying “front page displays” is the page name that doesn’t exist

and since I sent this last week blog posts have overwritten my ENTIRE home page in Every Section that is being displayed

I would reset the default per the initial instruction in theme documentation set up but am afraid that it will erase all my setup

    please advise
    Thank you

website is on a dev server sorry I can;t share – what should the image sizes be for that section of the theme “why our church”, my images heights are shorter than yours

    so either image size needed
or css for that area to fill my image to the shortcode

    Thanks

I resolved this but it is tied to the inner page header and so if I change the header image the same thing can potentially happen I would like to know what css to use to be able to nudge this margin around, thanks

This is super frustrating! I created all my Gallery Categories ( Gallery > Category) and set a title and featured image for each. NOW when I go to ADD IMAGE and select the category which I want it to be added to the only thing that happens is that it keeps adding new gallery card image placeholder

this is how I created >

I used the Add New to Create a Gallery Card “placeholder” for each Category I created and set a Featured Image

NOW I want to add multiple images to each gallery

    I selected
All images > Add New > Added an image/title, selected the image (featured image) and then ticked the category box for the gallery category I wanted it added to

The only thing it does is ADD new Gallery Card Categories, I see no way to add multiple images to a specific gallery category.

Here is a link (it will expire)
    https://dcd9613b47f5.ngrok.io/

that you can use to preview the gallery page
In this example I wanted the first/left most “Chapel Christmas” to be added to the Chapel Gallery and Christmas Holy Name Gallery. I selected both of those categories when I added and saved the image. All I can get the Gallery feature to do is continually ADD new Gallery cards which is not what I want to happen. Please advise.

so I tried to add an image using the Add New and assigned it the gallery category and set the featured image and all it did was create a new gallery.

I can not see how to add images to a defined Gallery – thanks

The website is on a local development site I am unable to provide a login. I am attaching a link to a screen capture outlining what the problem is and what Iam requesting.
    thanks

    1. To change the color of pointer finger icon, add below css code in Appearance -> Editor -> style.css

    .footer ul li::before { color: #000000 !important; }

    >>>>>> this is not working

    2. You can use the Facebook feed code in “why our church” section content

    >>>>>>>> I can not locate this code in my available shortcodes – is there a listing with other shortcodes available?
the only codes I have are for linking out to social and that is not what I want. I want to pull in the most recent facebook post

    Thanks

Actually I want the entire section of social icons centered within the margins
each individual social icon is already centered within it’s own I want the entire block of icons centered horizontally on the page
