To set your blog page to display only latest posts

Go to Settings -> Reading -> Front page displays
Click on radio button of Your latest posts

Then edit your “Articles” page and select “Blog – Right sidebar” page template from Page Attributes section

Please set your homepage using following

Go to Settings -> Reading -> Front page displays
Click on radio button of Your latest posts

With this settings, slider and services section will not be display in your blog page.

1. To hide 4 column services section
Go to Appearance -> Theme Options -> Sections -> Top Four Box Services Section -> Check to hide

2. To remove homepage slider and display banner image as like standard pages
Go to Appearance -> Theme Options -> Homepage Slider -> Custom Slider Shortcode Area For Home Page

add below image code in text area and change the image path which image you want to set

The follow up feature is working fine. Its the default functionality of this forum module.

To change the section title or text color use below css code and change section ID

#disastersection h2.section_title { color: #ffffff; }
#disastersection h2.section_title::after { background-color: #fff; }
#disastersection p { color: #ffffff; }

To change the section title and text color of Disaster Planning section to white

Go to Appearance -> Theme Options -> Basic Settings -> Custom CSS
add below css code

#disastersection h2.section_title { color: #ffffff; }
#disastersection h2.section_title::after { background-color: #fff; }
#disastersection p { color: #ffffff; }
