The main post page includes Top 4 box service section and the slider. I want to hide those two things and just have a single picture at the top instead. I want to treat it like any other page. How can I accomplish this?
April 23, 2018 at 5:34 am #8858Grace ThemesMemberHi Daniel,
1. To hide 4 column services section
Go to Appearance -> Theme Options -> Sections -> Top Four Box Services Section -> Check to hide2. To remove homepage slider and display banner image as like standard pages
Go to Appearance -> Theme Options -> Homepage Slider -> Custom Slider Shortcode Area For Home Pageadd below image code in text area and change the image path which image you want to set

Grace ThemesApril 24, 2018 at 11:23 pm #8870DanielParticipantThat worked, but unfortunately it also wiped out my list of articles. I want to make sure my blog posts show on my \articles page so it seems I have to keep it set to static so I can specify where the posts appear. I put it back the way it was for now. Is there another way of fixing this so I can keep my blog posts in my specifically designated page?

My new site is now live. Currently my home page is http://www.twinbytes.ca showing the slider and top 4 boxes. The problem is my blog/articles page http://www.twinbytes.ca/articles also shows the slider and top 4 boxes. How do I leave the home page how it is but remove only the slider and top 4 boxes from my blog/articles page?
April 27, 2018 at 7:02 am #8898Grace ThemesMemberHi Daniel,
To set your blog page to display only latest posts
Go to Settings -> Reading -> Front page displays
Click on radio button of Your latest postsThen edit your “Articles” page and select “Blog – Right sidebar” page template from Page Attributes section
Please check the documentation

Grace ThemesApril 28, 2018 at 7:27 pm #8912DanielParticipantThank you, that worked. Originally you left out the step to edit the articles page and select “Blog – Right sidebar”. That was what I needed.
It looks great now!I’m happy to say there is excellent service on this theme so far and fast replies. The only issue is even though I have “Notify me of the follow-up replies via email” I never get email notifications from your site.
