OK thank you for your honesty. I figured your home page on this theme is not SEO friendly and costing me business. I have an SEO team working on my site now and they are going to have to make a new static home page to replace this one or I change my theme.

Thank you but I’m not sure you understand the problem. If you do a Google Search for “https://twinbytes.ca” my home page does not show up, only the other pages. Why does my home page not show in Google search?

    It is https://twinbytes.ca
    Thank you for checking.

*On a side note, I still do not get email notifications when someone replies here even though I have the checkmark on to notify. I just checked today and noticed someone replied.

Thank you. I did have Yoast SEO already with the title filled out by Snippet Variables automatically but there was no meta description. I manually typed in a title and filled out the Meta Description. I’ll have to wait and see if it shows up eventually if it’s really that simple.

I guess that’s somewhat helpful. I’ll try it.

P.S. I still don’t get notifications by email even though I have it checked saying “Notify me of follow-up replies via email”. I only remembered to come back over 2 weeks later to check for your reply.

Thank you, that worked. Originally you left out the step to edit the articles page and select “Blog – Right sidebar”. That was what I needed.
    It looks great now!

I’m happy to say there is excellent service on this theme so far and fast replies. The only issue is even though I have “Notify me of the follow-up replies via email” I never get email notifications from your site.

I don’t feel comfortable providing access to my website but my question I think is fairly simple. It sounds like it is possible to do, however I just need to know how.
My new site is now live. Currently my home page is http://www.twinbytes.ca showing the slider and top 4 boxes. The problem is my blog/articles page http://www.twinbytes.ca/articles also shows the slider and top 4 boxes.

How do I leave the home page how it is but remove only the slider and top 4 boxes from my blog/articles page?

That worked, but unfortunately it also wiped out my list of articles. I want to make sure my blog posts show on my \articles page so it seems I have to keep it set to static so I can specify where the posts appear. I put it back the way it was for now. Is there another way of fixing this so I can keep my blog posts in my specifically designated page?

That removes it from my home page and blog page. I only want to remove it from my blog page ‘`https://mainword.twinbytes.ca/articles

I’m still unclear on this. It is only allowing one line of code and says “Set class for this section.” It’s not problem since I don’t seem to need it but maybe it’s something I could use if I understood what to use it for.
This is under the “Sections” tab not the “Basic settings” tab.

Great, that worked. Thanks. I just need to play with the background and color combination to get something that has the perfect contrast.

My details are irrelevant on this question. I just want to learn more about what “Section CSS Class” is for and how do I find what codes to put in? I can’t find information on this on your website anywhere.

P.S. I have checked below “notify me of follow-up replies via email” and I never got an email that you replied. I just came on here to check just incase and I found replies. Maybe you want to check the follow up feature is working on your website.

The website is under construction temporarily located at https://mainword.twinbytes.ca
I see under basic settings you can change section title color but that affects all sections. I want to change font color for section title and section text for just the one section.
The example is the section on “Disaster Planning” has a picture background which white text would work better than black text. Ofcourse I can’t use white text on every section because other sections are white backgrounds.
how can I change just that one section?
    Thanks,
    Daniel
