Slider images not complete on lower resolution (laptop)

I added some slider images for homepage. On high desktop resolution everything is fine.
On lower resolution (laptop i.e.) the images are not fully shown (approx. 50px are missing at bottom – you have to scroll).
Is this a matter of CSS or should I use another image size?
