I have added the option to set text excerpt for services pages.

1. Go to the Top Screen option and click on Excerpt checkbox
2. Add your short description in Excerpt text area

I have added the dummy short text for services page for your reference.

To use different short text for each services section, you can use Text Excerpt function.
And this will need to change some code.

Their is no way to change the services section title. Whichever page you select, the services title will be from page title and image from its Featured Image.

One of the plugin “EWWW Image Optimizer” is conflicting with the homepage slider scripts that’s why the blank spaces were displaying in the slider.

I have now deactivate this plugin, so please don’t activate and use this plugin.

I have changed the code in custom-functions.php file to display blog post by category

Just use the categoty=”17″ in latest news shortcode and change the category ID
[latest-news categoty=”17″ showposts=”3″ comment=”show” date=”show” author=”show”]

Hi,

Please use the same size images for homepage slider. The default slider image resolution is 1400 x 580 pixel. But you can use any size of images.

Keep all image height and width to same pixel to avoid sliding up and down.
Also do not use heavy size images, compress it before using images for slider.

This section is coded to display your custom images. The Font Awesome icon code will not work.

To change the images in this Welcome 3 column section

First upload logo image from Media Library. Go to Media -> Add New
Copy full path of uploaded image
Go to Appearance -> Theme Options -> Sections -> Section 13
Add image URL in image=”” and link in link=”” like below

To set the innerpage banner for all pages/posts
Go to Appearance » Theme Options » Homepage Slider » Inner Page Banner

To set banner image for individual page, just edit the page and select Featured Image of size 1400 x 350 pixels

Please check the sample page for selecting page featured image
(See at the bottom right side)

Also remove any of the image which is set from Appearance -> Header
