I’ve got 4 images assigned to the intro slider, and for each image I’ve assigned a Read More button and per image a different ‘Slide Url for Read More Button’. However, on the slider for each image the same URL is shown, namely the URL as defined at the last slider image. If I delete the 4th image, then on all slider images the URL for the 3rd image is shown. And so on.
It looks like the URL assigned to the button is always the URL as specified under ‘Slide Url for Read More Button’ at the last slider image.
All other information, such as image to be shown, description text, button text is copied correctly from the options page. Only the URL part is faulty

Uncaught TypeError: jQuery(…).quovolver is not a function at custom.js#IamnotaJavascriptprogrammer 😉

Thank you!

Some digging in the code reveals that this slider option is based on multiple backgrounds, which periodically change from opacity=0 to opacity=1. Thus it appears that the images are sliding from one to another.
The code does read the “A HREF=” link, but does this for all backgrounds subsequently. Because all backgrounds are there, this will results in that the last “A HREF=” will always be the link you’ll be sent to. Instead of the background link which is shown to the user

December 30, 2024 at 10:10 am #55232Jaap BleuminkParticipantI’m sorry, I did not read this item for a while. The ‘Read More’ issue is still there – and a bit annoying. We’re using a multi lingual website, and wish to use the option for different ‘Read more’ links per picture shown in the Slider, thus giving users a link to the webpages in their own language. But only the ‘Read More’ link on the last shown picture in the Slider is working.
I’ll send you some more in depth details about the issue per e-mail, including access to an Admin account on our development website.
