reverse aboutme section picture and text

Hello,
When I reverse the text and the picture in the two column aboutme section such that the picture is in the column on the left and the text is in the column on the right, the text appears at the very top of the column and spans the entire width of the column rather than being centered and look neat as it does when the text is in the first column. How can I fix this? Thank you.
