oh, I spoke before looking. sorry. It is specified in the homepage settings in the documentation to select “latest posts”. LOL. maybe emphasize more that should be selected and why and perhaps explain the options of how it displays the homepage and post pages.

Thanks, as luck would have it, I stumbled on that accidentally and it worked.
I suggest you add that to the installation documentation, because IMHO it’s kind of counter-intuitive.
