Appearance -> Theme Editor -> css/nivo-slider.css

and js file in js/jquery.nivo.slider.js

To remove the comments from blogs posts
Got to the Appearance -> Theme Options -> Basic Settings -> Custom CSS
add below css code

.news-box .PostMeta span { display: none; }
.post-comment { display: none !important; }

add below css code
