first create the page from WordPress Admin panel. then select that page from dropdown, can manage page excerpt length.
Go to => Appearance » Theme Options » Sections » Welcome to Website Section.

• Go to Settings -> Reading -> Front page displays
• Click on radio button of Your latest posts
• Go to Appearance -> Theme Options and click on Restore Defaults in bottom side

1. To set Main Header primary menu

– Go to Appearance >> Menu
– Click on Create a new menu link
– Give a name to your menu (Main Menu) in Menu name and click save menu button
– Now add pages by selecting with checkboxes.
– Select menu theme locations Primary Menu from Menu Settings

To customize the Team Member section

• Create new team member from Our Team » Add New
• Add Title as a Member Name and enter description.
• Set Featured Image from right side section. This featured image will be display in homepage team member section.
• You don’t need to add team member pictures to the Team members post

Please do this and let me know your feedback.
