Wide Range Pro – Background Image

Good day,
I am trying to create a new website using the Wide Range Pro Theme. I have everything done following the guide at the documentation section but I have problems with setting an individual page background image.It works well with the default inner page background image, but the featured image neither overrides the default one, nor shows if I left the default settings blank.
I have tested it with different picture sizes (more or less 1920 x 1276 px).
I was not able to exactly get the mentioned default size as 1920 x 1276 is hardly scaleable. Is this mandatory for the sttings to work?Hi,
