Front page on the 4 service items excerpts on the main page – is there a way to insert specific text instead of having it just pull excerpts from the relevant pages? We want to put specific text there.

Hi,

The plain text is displayed without any text formatting in Services section.

You can also hide short description of Services section
Go to the Appearance -> Theme Options -> Basic Settings -> Custom CSS
add below css code

.fourbox p { display: none; }

The changes has been completed regarding the services section.
I have added the text Excerpt functionality to display your custom description for services pages.

Please edit your Services pages and add your short content in Excerpt box below the main editor
