Slider truncates text

I’m using BizGrowth on http://www.youlius-award.de
I really like it, but there’s one issue, that I don’t know how to fix: The text excerpt on the slider truncates in the middle of a sentence, or even a word. I tried to fix it by inserting a –more– tag in the linked page, but it made no difference.

The 15 words are displaying for slider description text excerpt.

Grace ThemesSo this is a 15 words limit? That’s interesting, I found that nowhere documented.
The problem is, as you can tell from the homepage (http://youlius-award.de/) and the linked page (http://youlius-award.de/etwas-besonderes-youlius-award-2017), that the word “zweitwichtigste” is truncated right in the middle of the word. This looks very unfinished to visitors of our website.
My expectation would be to have either:
* A separate field, where I can set the excerpt / teaser text to show up on the slider
* Usage of the <– more –> tag, which was used in the past to seperate the excerpt from the body of the post.Sorry for the delay in answering, this is a spare-time project 🙂

As you are using BizGrowh Free WordPress Theme so theme customization options are not available. The BizGrowth PRO theme has lots of options to customize the theme.
Please send WordPress admin login details for temporary at [email protected] so we can check and assist you.

Grace ThemesIMHO this is not a customization, this is a bugfix. I fixed it myself for now, but this piece of code has apparently been reworked in the paid version to show the first 15 words, instead of a hard cut after 100 characters.
And I won’t send my login credentials to anybody, I’m sorry.
