We don’t want to show a slider caption – but leaving it blank still leaves behind the caption container.

How can I get rid of the container?

If you want to slider caption container completely
Go to the Appearance -> Theme Options -> Basic Settings -> Cusom CSS

and enter below CSS code

.nivo-caption { display: none }
