Hi,
Appeciate if you can help me on the below
How can I filter posts by category in the latest-news shortcode so that it only shows posts with the category marked as news.
I havent figured out how does the Photo Gallery in the theme work. Does it create individual posts for each image? So if I want to upload 30 photos of an event and make a gallery, how does it work? I have to make a new entry for each of the 40 photos and it creates a new post one by one?Thanks.

1. The option is not available to display posts by category in homepage latest news section.
2. The photo gallery create individual posts for each image
Please use NextGEN gallery plugin to display photo gallery in your website.Regards
