News (posts) listing in footer restricted to 5

Hello,
In our footer, we are displaying a list of our new articles (posts). However, it is displaying all of them which makes the footer section very long. Is there a way to restrict the number of displayed posts in the footer?Thanks!
Just found it. Apparently this is a wordpress setting. If you need to update this, goto SETTINGS, READING.
