Could you take a look at http://stonecoquarries.com/ as the Homepage slider is very slow to load. There are 3 images, each one is 100Kb or less in size. I have deactivated all plugins which didn’t make a difference.

Initially it is taking time to load the slider image but then it is working fine.

Unfortunately, that doesn’t make a difference. We have a different website also on the same hosting server, with similar sized images, but using the Organizing Pro theme, and it loads up nice and fast. http://dubbotilttrayservices.com.au

I’ll try creating a staging site and load up a different theme and see if the homepage slider speeds up.

Hi,

The slider works fine with no issue in all of our demo site and various clients website.

If you don’t want to use this default image slider, you can use any image slider WordPress plugin

Go to Appearance » Theme Options » Homepage Slider
Enter your slider shortcode which is provided by plugin without php tag
