changing font size impacts header

Hello – I’ve changed the default bodytext font size from 16 to 18, but when I do that, the menu options in the header overlay the button that I created for the header using the “booknow” class. I’m running locally so I can’t send you a link to see this, but wondering if there is a way to change the font size for the pages and have it not impact the header and nav menu. thanks
