Cannot get phone number to show in header widget

Trying to add a phone number in the header and it does not show up on mobile device. I’ve tried giving it font color using HTML and even used CSS to modify the H6 tag, but nothing seems to work. If I put text I can see it, but a phone number will not show in mobile. Any ideas how to fix this?
Clarification. This only happens in when viewing on mobile device. I can see phone number on my computer monitor.
