Sports Club Pro – Update Version

I see that there is now Sports Club Pro 1.1 available. How do I update my theme to the newest version and will doing so wipe my website of its data?
You will need to download the updated theme from My Account and reinstall it on your website.
This may be a stupid question but, will I also need to reinstall the sample data too? Also will doing this remove the current content from the website?
