How do I remove the footer menu from the footer, it is not required for my site.

Please disregard, I just replaced that area with another widget and all is good.

This can be deleted.

Hi,

You can use the footer widgets to customize the footer section using WordPress widgets
Go to the Appearance -> Widgets -> Footer Widget
