Howto update Wide Range pro to 1.4?

The current version of Wide Range pro running on our website is 1.3. On your website, it is listed that version 1.4 is the most current version (jan 2025). However, there’s no ‘update now’ button in the Theme overview page on WordPress. How can I force an update on our website to obtain this newest version of the Wide Range pro theme?

The automatic update of the theme is not available. You will need to manually update it.
To update the theme on your website
– Download the updated theme from My Account
– Go to the Appearance -> Themes
– Activate some other theme
– Delete the old version of Wide Range PRO theme
– Then upload the updated theme and activate itIf you are getting any problem, please send your website URL and WordPress admin login details at support@gracethemes.com so we can check and assist you quickly.

One little remark on the updated theme 1.4: if there are no entries for title+desc+url for a slider picture, a small black CaptionBX area will still be displayed. I’ve fixed this for my website by adding some code to header.php, by checking on empty fields and so determine to display this CaptionBX area yes/no:
