CSS for contact form 7 fields

Hi,
I’m using the plugin “Contact Form 7”, and am trying to custom the appearance of the contact forms. I want to set the font color of the input fields that I used and have tried to update the MedPlus Pro stylesheet for contact forms using the editor, as well as in the Custom CSS of the Theme Options screen. However, none seem to be working for the input fields. Is there somewhere another CSS that ‘overwrites’ the set font color for input fields maybe?
