Hi,
To change the category and archives from Blog sidebar
Go to the Appearance -> Widgets -> Blog Sidebar -> Add widgets

To remove the sidebar from blog details page
Go to Appearance -> Theme Options -> Basic Settings -> Blog Single Layout -> Select Full Width
