How do I hide the slider and other sections on the Blog page so that only blog summaries show (as they would if I weren’t using a theme)? I want the site’s homepage to show as it should, with the slider and with whatever sections I have enabled, but if a user clicks the “news-blog” page, all I want to see is the top menu, the blog, and the footer.

Hi,

Please setup homepage using following

1. Go to Settings -> Reading -> Front page displays
2. Click on radio button of Your latest posts

To display blog posts in your Blog page:
– Edit the blog page
– Select “Blog – Right Sidebar” page template from page attribute panel
