In the gallery section, the default images are LARGER than the size of the image previews when you click on each image. How do I reverse that? In the gallery, there should be thumbnails and then when you click on each image it pops up a larger rotating gallery that theme currently has but larger….the size of it is great for mobile but not desktop. Can someone PLEASE assist here?

On a personal note – official tech/customer support ABSOLUTELY IS AWEFUL on this site – they claim the following:
“We offer free installation, setup and theme customization without any other extra charge.” – but when you ask for assistance in customization THEY REFUSE and IGNORE your request – ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!! I have had to figure 90% of the customization out on my own – they were of ZERO help. THANK YOU FOR ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! YOU HAVE TAKEN MY MONEY! GOOD FOR YOU!

Hi,

You are using the default images for gallery. The default images are very small in size ( 268 × 269 pixels) http://staging.bandrecordingslive.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/album04.jpg

Please remove all default images and use your actual large size of images for photo gallery.

OK thank you…. additionally – how do I have the photo gallery page show just the images that I want .. more precisely the new images that I upload? do i assign those new images a category? and if so what attribute do i assign the photo gallery shortcode? Please advise. Thank you.

Hi,

You can display the images by category
1. Create gallery category: Go to Photo Gallery -> Gallery Category
2. Select the Category when adding new image
3. Use this shortcode to display photo gallery by category: [photogallery filter=”true” show=”6″]

If you don’t want to use this default photo gallery, you can use NextGEN gallery plugin

when I use the short code “[photogallery filter=”true” show=”6″]” it shows the links to the category. that is NOT what i want. I feel like you are a very difficult tech support person who is not supporting me fully. all i want to do is SHOW the images on a designated page based on SPECIFIC categories that i assign it WITHOUT the link to that image category showing up on that page. so for example:

GALLERY PAGE 1 would have images only assigned to category name TEST 1:
[photogallery filter=”true” show=”6″ category=”test 1″] (or whatever the database ID number it assigns the category

GALLERY PAGE 2 would have images only assigned to category name TEST 1:
[photogallery filter=”true” show=”6″ category=”test 2″] (or whatever the database ID number it assigns the category

How can I implement this?

ADDITIONALLY please look at http://staging.bandrecordingslive.com/index.php/gallery-new/ via a mobile device…. the JAZZ BAND 1 image when you load the image player/slideshow is very tiny vs the other images; how do i adjust that? PLEASE HELP ME FULLY AND NOT BE VAGUE! THANK YOU!!

The option is not available to display photo gallery by category in this default pretty photo gallery script.
Please use NextGEN gallery plugin to display categorized image gallery.

The image http://staging.bandrecordingslive.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/20190615_214429.jpg is very high resolution of size 4032 × 2268 pixels that’s why it is looking very tiny on mobile device. Please use small/medium size of images for photo gallery.
