Images not resizing for phone or tablet views

Images in my posts aren`t being resized when viewing on a phone or tablet. I`ve inserted photos into my posts but when I try viewing on a phone or tablet they are too big for the display and disappear off the right of the page. Is this a setting I`m missing or a bug ? Nige
